Antioxidantii sunt substante care protejeaza celulele organismului de actiunea nociva a radicalilor liberi. In anul 1935, la Universitatea Berkeley din California, nutritionista si biochimista Gladys Anderson Emerson, a izolat pentru prima data aceasta vitamina. Dupa aproximativ 3 ani, in 1938, chimistul german Erhard Fernholz a identificat structura chimica a vitaminei, iar Paul Karrer a reusit sa sintetizeze intreaga ei structura.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"3\"><b>Proprietatile vitaminei E<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aceasta vitamina este unul dintre cei mai importanti antioxidanti, de aceea corpul nostru are nevoie de ea. Consumul alimentelor bogate in vitamina E este insa recomandat indiferent de afectiune, iar aceste produse trebuie incluse obligatoriu intr-o dieta echilibrata, ca parte a unui stil de viata sanatos.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"4\"><b>Alimente bogate in vitamina E<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In topul alimentelor bogate in vitamina E gasim <\/span><b>germenii de grau, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">insa pe langa asta, avem o gama variata de alimente recomandate. Consumul regulat de vitamina E protejeaza organismul de mai multe boli sau afectiuni. Vitamina E ajuta celulele sa se apere de actiunile radicalilor liberi daunatori. Deficienta de vitamina E poate afecta functiile reproducatoare normale, mai ales in cazul barbatilor. Este constant recomandata pentru barbatii care au probleme de fertilitate, deoarece vitamina E imbunatateste calitatea spermei si poate reduce riscul de malformatii congenitale. In urma studiilor efectuate, un procent de aproximativ 10% dintre barbatii consumatori pentru o perioada de cateva luni de suplimente cu vitamina E au observat o crestere a fertilitatii. Vitamina E contribuie la dilatarea vaselor de sange, poate reduce tensiunea arteriala si riscul aparitiei bolilor cardiovasculare. Anumite cercetari sustin ca vitamina E poate avea beneficii importante pentru sanatatea inimii, ajutand inclusiv la inhibarea oxidarii colesterolului LDL in plasma.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Amelioreaza simptomele astmului<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. In urma unei cercetari preliminare s-a constatat ca un anumit tip de vitamina E,<\/span><b> gama-tocoferol<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ar putea reduce inflamatiile specifice cailor respiratorii, intalnite des in cazul persoanelor diagnosticate cu astm. Asta inseamna 22 de IU (unitati internationale). Femeile care alapteaza ar trebui sa consume zilnic o cantitate mai mare, adica 19 mg (28 IU), insa numai la recomandarea medicului.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In cazul copiilor, doza zilnica trebuie stabilita de catre medicul pediatru, dar orientativ aceasta este urmatoarea:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sugarii de la 0 pana la 6 luni au nevoie de 4 mg\/zi<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bebelusii de la 7 luni pana intr-un an au nevoie de 5 mg\/zi<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Copiii cu varsta intre 1 an si 3 ani au nevoie de 6 mg\/zi<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Copiii cu varsta intre 4 si 8 ani au nevoie de 7 mg\/zi<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Copiii cu varsta intre 9 si 13 ani au nevoie de 11 mg\/zi.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"7\"><b>Efectele adverse ale supradozei<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Daca iti procuri vitamina E doar din alimente, atunci supradozarea este putin probabila. Specialistii sustin insa ca administrarea suplimentelor nutritive in doze prea mari (peste 1.000 mg zilnic) poate provoca efecte adverse, inclusiv hemoragii sau accident vascular cerebral, riscul fiind mai mare la persoanele care iau medicamente pentru subtierea sangelui.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De asemenea,<\/span><b> vitamina E in exces<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> poate provoca stari de greata, varsaturi, diaree sau dureri musculare. Riscul unei deficiente este mai mare la persoanele cu tulburari digestive si la cele care nu pot asimila corect grasimile (cum este cazul bolnavilor de fibroza chistica, boala celiaca si pancreatita). Iata care sunt simptomele lipsei de vitamina E:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Retinopatie (afectarea retinei, care duce la tulburari de vedere)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Neuropatie (distrugerea nervilor periferici, care duce la dureri ale membrelor)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Slabirea sistemului imunitar<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ataxia (pierderea controlului asupra miscarilor corpului)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2 id=\"9\"><b>Cum se face absorbtia si eliminarea vitaminei E<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vitamina E este absorbita mai bine din alimente, iar atunci cand este administrata sub forma de supliment, ar trebui consumata in timpul mesei. In acest fel, ea va fi asimilata mai bine in organism.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Modul in care organismul poate asimila aceasta vitamina variaza de la o persoana la alta, iar consumul unei cantitati mari de vitamina E nu va ajuta la o absorbtie mai buna, dimpotriva, o va reduce. Excesul de vitamina E este eliminat in special prin materiile fecale, dar si prin urina. Fiind un antioxidant puternic, vitamina E are efecte deosebite pentru santatea pielii si parului:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ajuta la intarirea firului de par.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Un sampon cu vitamina E poate reduce deteriorarea celulelor si ajuta semnificativ la cresterea parului. Efectele antioxidante ale vitaminei E intaresc firul de par.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reda stralucirea parului.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Substantele chimice din produsele cosmetice, dar si temperaturile prea ridicate la care este expus parul atunci cand este uscat si coafat pot deteriora aspectul firului de par. Vitamina E asigura un strat protector suplimentar si reda stralucirea parului.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Protejeaza pielea.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Vitamina E s-a dovedit extrem de utila pentru diminuarea efectelor produse de expunerea prelungita la soare. Poate imbunatati vizibil aspectul pielii, deoarece ofera protectie impotriva razelor UV si a radicalilor liberi care ar putea intra in contact cu epiderma.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reduce ridurile. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Are rol antioxidant atat la interior, cat si la exterior. Vitamina E mentine pielea sanatoasa si hidratata si reduce semnificativ ridurile de expresie. De asemenea, consumul de vitamina E ajuta la dezvoltarea celulelor pielii, lupta impotriva radicalilor liberi care pot distruge celulele\u00a0 si imbunatateste circulatia sangelui.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Concluzie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In concluzie, vitamina E este o substanta esentiala pentru sanatatea noastra si poate fi consumata sub forma unor suplimente nutritive, la recomandarea medicului. Este foarte important insa ca aceasta vitamina sa fie consumata si din alimente, pentru o mai buna asimilare.
