Planta armurariu a ajuns \u00een America de Nord, fiind introdus\u0103 de primii coloni\u0219ti, iar arealul ei s-a r\u0103sp\u00e2ndit rapid. Ast\u0103zi, armurariul este reg\u0103sit \u0219i \u00een Africa, Australia, Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Din cele mai vechi timpuri, oamenii au folosit armurariul pentru a trata tulbur\u0103rile hepatice \u0219i problemele vezicii biliare. Silimarina este un complex de flavonolignani (silibina, silidianina, izosilibina, silicristina). Acestia sunt substante antioxidante cu puternice <strong>proprietati hepatoprotectoare si regenerative<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>20-30% lipide, dintre care aprox. 60% acid linoleic (Omega-6), 30% acid oleic (Omega-9) si aprox. 9% acid palmitic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>20-30% proteine, aminoacizi: lizina, leucina, cisteina etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>carbohidrati, fibre, substante carotenoide, tocoferoli, steroli<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>magneziu, potasiu, fier, mangan, calciu si alte minerale<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Toti acesti compusi confera armurariului proprietati terapeutice valoroase. Aceste rezultate au fost puse pe seama capacitatii armurariului de a sustine productia de prolactina, hormon al carui rol principal este acela de a declansa lactatia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ajuta la prevenirea cancerului \u2013 <\/strong>dupa revizuirea unor studii preclinice, cercetatorii de la Universitatea Minnesota au afirmat ca silimarina din compozitia armurariului poate reduce riscul dezvoltarii cancerului de piele, san, prostata, a cancerului cervical.
