Zonele cele mai propice pentru dezvoltarea acestui soi de nuc sunt Serbia, Bulgaria, Fran\u021ba, Grecia \u0219i Rom\u00e2nia, dar \u0219i Chile, California, Noua Zeeland\u0103 \u0219i Australia. Fructul de nuc este o drup\u0103 sferic\u0103, cu \u00eenveli\u0219 c\u0103rnos verde, care la maturitate crap\u0103 \u0219i se desface, eliber\u00e2nd nuca.
