Prima utilizare uman\u0103 cunoscut\u0103 a \u0219ofranului s\u0103lbatic a fost ca pigment pentru picturile rupestre, \u00een urm\u0103 cu aproximativ 50.000 de ani. Originar din Iran \u0219i Irak, \u0219ofranul s-a r\u0103sp\u00e2ndit \u00een \u00eentreaga lume, fiind foarte apreciat pentru numeroasele sale \u00eentrebuin\u021b\u0103ri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fiind o plant\u0103 bulbifer\u0103, care poate fi g\u0103sit\u0103 \u00een zonele calde ale Orientului Mijlociu \u0219i \u00een sudul Europei, \u0219ofranul este de obicei cultivat \u00een zone \u00eenalte \u0219i aride, unde poate s\u0103 se bucure de o cantitate adecvat\u0103 de soare \u0219i de aer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u0218ofranul a fost folosit \u00een medicina tradi\u021bional\u0103 \u00eenc\u0103 din antichitate, fiind utilizat pentru tratarea diferitelor afec\u021biuni, precum durerile de cap, stomac, tuse, diabet \u0219i alte boli gastro-intestinale. De asemenea, \u0219ofranul a fost folosit ca un antidepresiv \u0219i antiseptic foarte eficient.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u00cen mod tradi\u021bional, se mai utiliza \u0219i sub form\u0103 de <strong>condiment<\/strong>. Acesta era adesea ad\u0103ugat \u00een preparatele culinare din Orientul Mijlociu \u0219i din sudul Europei. (<em>C. sativus<\/em>&nbsp;L. var.&nbsp;<em>autumnalis<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>C. autumnalis<\/em>&nbsp;Sm.,&nbsp;<em>C. hispanicus<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>C. palasii Goldb<\/em>.,&nbsp;<em>C. longiflorus<\/em>&nbsp;Rchb.),<strong> \u0219ofran sau br\u00e2ndu\u0219a de prim\u0103var\u0103<\/strong> face parte din familia&nbsp;<em>Iridaceae<\/em>. Este o plant\u0103 peren\u0103 care prezint\u0103 \u00een p\u0103m\u00e2nt un bulbo-tuber mare, aplatizat, \u00eenconjurat de resturile unor frunze externe, partea aerian\u0103, ating\u00e2nd \u00een\u0103l\u021bimi de 8-30 cm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Frunzele sunt erecte, uneori distan\u021b\u00e2ndu-se de tulpin\u0103, \u00eenguste, u\u0219or tomentoase pe mar\u00adgini; perigonul campanulat, cu tepale violete, cu nervuri evidente mai \u00eenchise sau mai deschise la culoare, este mai jos dec\u00e2t v\u00e2rful frunzelor. Fiecare plant\u0103 are maximum 1-2 flori. Florile sunt lungi de 10-15 cm, cu stigmate de culoare galben\u0103, trifurcate, iar fructul este o capsul\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Se recolteaz\u0103 stigmatele, toamna, c\u00e2nd florile violete sunt complet deschise.<\/strong> Se des\u00adprind cu grij\u0103 din floare \u015fi se pun \u00een site foarte fine, usc\u00e2ndu-se deasupra unor c\u0103rbuni de lemn sau a cenu\u0219ii fierbin\u021bi. \u00cen cursul procesului de uscare produsul cap\u0103t\u0103 mirosul caracteristic. Pentru a ob\u021bine 1 kg de \u0219ofran uscat de calitate corespunz\u0103toare, se prelucreaz\u0103 5 kg de stigmate proaspete prelevate de la 120.000-200.000 de flori.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.planteea.ro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/image-6.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3248\" width=\"558\" height=\"335\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.planteea.ro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/image-6.png 595w, https:\/\/www.planteea.ro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/image-6-500x300.png 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 558px) 100vw, 558px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>De ce este un condiment scump?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Acest condiment este foarte scump din cauza dificult\u0103\u021bii de recoltare(de la 2.000 la 10.000 euro pe kilogram). <strong>Costul este ridicat pentru c\u0103 sunt necesare aproape 15.000 de flori de \u0219ofran pentru a ob\u021bine doar 100 grame de fire uscate de \u0219ofran<\/strong>, iar <strong>fermierii trebuie s\u0103 recolteze manual<\/strong> firele delicate din fiecare floare. Depresia<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0218ofranul amelioreaz\u0103 multe condi\u021bii psihiatrice. Vechii medici persani \u00eel foloseau \u00een tratarea depresiei. Iar studiile din prezent valideaz\u0103 aceast\u0103 metod\u0103 de tratament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un&nbsp;test randomizat dublu-orb de \u0219ase s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2ni&nbsp;a comparat \u0219ofranul cu medicamentul fluoxetin (Prozac). Rezultatele au ar\u0103tat c\u0103 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.planteea.ro\/condimente\/sofran\/\"><strong>\u0219ofranul a \u00eembunatatit semnificativ disfunc\u021bia erectil\u0103<\/strong><\/a>, iar autorii au sugerat c\u0103 \u0219ofranul poate fi luat \u00een calcul ca op\u021biune de tratament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0218ofranul poate ameliora \u0219i disfunc\u021bia sexual\u0103 cauzat\u0103 de Prozac. \u00centr-un studiu randomizat, dublu-orb, controlat cu placebo, efectuat pe 36 de b\u0103rba\u021bi care au folosit Prozac, ace\u0219tia au primit 15 mg de \u0219ofran sau un placebo de doua ori pe zi. Dup\u0103 patru s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2ni, grupul cu \u0219ofran a manifestat o \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021bire \u00een ceea ce prive\u0219te disfunc\u021bia erectil\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sofranul \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021be\u0219te problemele sexuale induse de Prozac inclusiv la femei. La un studiu randomizat, dublu-orb, controlat prin placebo, au participat 38 de femei care au folosit Prozac \u0219i care au acuzat disfunctii sexuale.&nbsp;Acestea au fost tratate fie cu placebo fie cu <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.planteea.ro\/condiment-sofran-eco-05g-sonnentor\/\">30 mg de sofran<\/a><\/strong>.&nbsp;Dupa patru s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2ni, grupul cu sofran a prezentat valori semnificativ mai ridicate ale func\u021biei sexuale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Celule stem pentru cancer pancreatic<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0218ofranul con\u021bine un compus carotenoid numit crocetina. In cadrul unui&nbsp;<strong>studiu&nbsp;publicat in revista&nbsp;Oncotarget<\/strong>, cercetatorii au descoperit c\u0103 acidul crocetinic, un compus purificat din crocetina, a inhibat dezvoltarea celulelor de cancer pancreatic uman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Autorii au mentionat c\u0103 doza de acid crocetinic, necesar\u0103 pentru a ob\u021bine aceste rezultate nu a fost toxic\u0103 pentru celulele&nbsp;normale din corp. Ei au mai sugerat c\u0103 acesti carotenoizi sunt bine tolera\u021bi de organism \u00een doze mari \u0219i c\u0103 numeroase studii au sprijinit utilizarea lor \u00een tratamentele chimio preventive sau \u00een chimioterapie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4.
