Un <strong>vechi proverb chinezesc<\/strong> spune: \u201e<strong>cine are salvie \u00een cas\u0103 nu las\u0103 b\u0103tr\u00e2ne\u021bea s\u0103 se apropie<\/strong>\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Salvia este o plant\u0103 erbacee<\/strong>. Exist\u0103 mai multe specii de salvie, cele mai frecvente sunt salvia comun\u0103 (<strong>Salvia officinalis<\/strong>) \u0219i salvia spaniola (Salvia lavandulaefolia). <strong>Numele de salvie provine din latinescul \u201esalvere\u201d \u0219i \u00eenseamn\u0103 \u201ea vindeca\u201d<\/strong>. Sunt semi-arbu\u0219ti pereni cu r\u0103d\u0103cini ad\u00e2nci \u0219i foarte ramifica\u021bi. Tulpinile au 50-80 cm \u00een\u0103l\u021bime, ramurile au sec\u021biuni transversale tipic dreptunghiulare. Frunzele sunt alungite-lanceolate, cele inferioare sunt pe\u021biolate iar cele superioare sunt sesile \u0219i au marginile crenate. Frunzele de salvie sunt acoperite pe ambele p\u0103r\u021bi cu peri\u0219ori. Inflorescen\u021bele sunt compuse din 2-3 flori \u0219i constituie pseudo-raceme compuse din 5-8 pseudoverticile. Necesit\u0103 mult\u0103 c\u0103ldur\u0103 \u0219i rezist\u0103 bine la secet\u0103. Se poate cultiva eficient \u00een soluri de consisten\u021b\u0103 medie, bine aerisite, care se \u00eenc\u0103lzesc repede. \u00cenghe\u021bul \u00een timpul iernilor lungi, reci, f\u0103r\u0103 z\u0103pad\u0103, provoac\u0103 plantelor daune considerabile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Salvia este una dintre plantele medicale cele mai versatile, cunoscute dintre cele mai vechi timpuri. Grecii \u0219i romanii antici foloseau ini\u021bial salvia pentru conservarea c\u0103rnii dar planta avea \u0219i un rol medical important.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Substan\u021be active din salvie:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Substan\u021ba activ\u0103 <\/strong>se g\u0103se\u0219te \u00een frunzele uscate de salvie (<em>folium Salviae<\/em>) \u0219i uleiul esen\u021bial (<em>aetheroleum Salviae<\/em>). Consumul de salvie este recomandat \u00een cazul transpira\u021biei excesive din cauza <strong>hipertiroidismului<\/strong> sau <strong>dezechilibrului sistemului nervos<\/strong>. Acesta are<strong> efecte antimicrobiene, antihipertensive \u0219i antiinflamatoare<\/strong>, contribuind, \u00een acela\u0219i timp, la <strong>sc\u0103derea nivelului de zah\u0103r din s\u00e2nge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gustul delicat, u\u0219or dulce-am\u0103rui, dar \u0219i propriet\u0103\u021bile sale, au contribuit la desemnarea Salviei, in 2001, de c\u0103tre <strong>Asocia\u021bia Interna\u021bional\u0103 a Plantelor<\/strong>, \u201c<strong>Planta Anului<\/strong>\u201d. Uscat\u0103 sau sub form\u0103 de pulbere, Salvia poate fi g\u0103sit\u0103 \u00een orice farmacie sau <strong>magazin naturist<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Potrivit <strong>studiilor<\/strong> efectuate de-a lungul anilor, s-a demonstrat ca Salvia officinalis de\u021bine puternice <strong>propriet\u0103\u021bi antioxidante <\/strong>care pot reduce nivelul <strong>radicalilor liberi <\/strong>\u0219i al altor factori de stres care pot produce inflama\u021bii \u00een organism. Inflama\u021biile care se produc \u00een corp fac parte din procesul natural de vindecare.
